Day 01 of Desert Triangle/ Arrival Jodhpur

Arrive at Jodhpur transfer to hotel, Jodhpur – the stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II around 1899, and Umaid public gardens. Day 02 of Desert Triangle / Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (about 290 km)
After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer. Arrive & transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure. Night stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 03 of Desert Triangle / Jaisalmer

The most famous landmark in the city, Jaisalmer Fort is one of the largest forts in the world. Built in 1156 AD, the fort is also popularly known as Sonar Qila. Unlike other forts in the country, Jaisalmer Fort is a massive fort with a museum, shops, hotels, houses, and eateries housed within. One of the biggest tourist attractions of the city, it is also a delight for photographers.

One of the largest Havelis in Rajasthan, Patwon ki Haveli is a cluster of five small Havelis. Started by Guman Chand Patwa, a wealthy banker, Patwon ki Haveli took almost 55 years to be built and was completed by his sons.  The haveli is dipped in an enchanting shade of gold and instantly draws your attention to the intricacy of its architecture. It is most famous for its fine wall paintings, beautiful jharokhas (balconies), archways, and gateways.

Thar Heritage Museum is located at the main market of the city. Laxmi Narayan Khatri was the founder of this museum. The museum presents you with the history, culture, art, and architecture of the famous Thar Desert. Sea fossils aging over million years let us in on how the sea eventually became the Thar Desert. The museum houses unique ornaments of the ship of the desert and horses. Documents and coins of Jaisalmer, ancient manuscripts, and weapons are some of the collections found in this museum.

After breakfast, Later start to city sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Throbbing in the heart of the Thar, the burnished sandstone, is an intricately molded wonderland in place of barren land, today stands a city of gilded magic. The origins of Jaisalmer go back to the 12th century when Rawal Jaisal abandoned his old fort at Ludarwa and laid the foundation of a new city.

Visit the magnificent fort, the Patwon Ki Haveli ( Mansion) and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, with their carved balconies and brackets which are supreme examples of the art. Night stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 04 of Desert Triangle / Jaisalmer – Bikaner (about 330 km)

After breakfast, drive to Bikaner. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Later start a city sightseeing tour. Bikaner is named after its founder Rao Bikaji in 1488. But long before this, the city was a trade center on the caravan routes from Africa and West Asia. Bikaner’s dominant features are rippling sands and abundant sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 Kms wall, which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th-century fort housing old palaces, temples, and mosques. Founded by Raja Rai Singh the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies, and aerial windows of varying designs. Also visit Lallgarh Palace, the museum, Bhanda Sagar Jain, and Deshnoke Rat temple. Night stay in Bikaner.

Day 05 of Desert Triangle / Bikaner-Departure
After breakfast, transfer to airport /railway station for the onwards journey.
